Support the Al-Batran family

Hello – I’m Carrie Leung and I reside in the United States. I’m running this campaign on behalf of the Al-Batran family. This family has been vetted and verified by me.
On 12/29/24, the Al-Batran family lost one of their 20 day old twin boys, Jumaa to hypothermia. Jumaa’s twin brother, Ali, was in intensive care at Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital, but now has been released. Hope for Gaza’s Children and Angie fundraised approximately $1500 for their family but due to the high cost of living and the extreme need for necessities for this family of 8, they will require more support to survive this horrific time.
To those who donate, share, pray, comment, THIS FAMILY THANKS YOU! Please! Help me help others.
Hi everyone – thank you for continuing to come back and support this family. One of our asked for an update for this family today and I am so grateful that many of you care enough to be thinking about the families in Gaza.
Unfortunately, I do have some bad news to share. There has been some very intense attacks on Gaza and the Al Batran family lost another child, this time their eldest son (15 year old). Mom was seriously injured and is now in the ICU.
We do still have some remaining funds from the fundraiser that has yet to be transferred over. I am truly sorry to be the bearer of such bad news. Please remember to come back to donate when you can as not only the situation in Gaza worst, but now dad is the sole parent taking care of five children including baby Ali.
I know we all hope all this bloodshed and violence will end soon, but until then let’s do what we can to help as many families as we can. Thank you so much.
